English Heritage was created in 1984 to be the Government's statutory adviser on the historic environment and to encourage people to understand, value, care for and enjoy their historic environment.
The Government's legal responsibility for the historic environment can be traced back to the Ancient Monuments Act of 1882. For the next 100 years the state continued to be involved in protecting the nation's built heritage through bodies and Government departments.
Mindful of this rich vein of proud national heritage, Adima are fully aware of the additional challenges that heritage properties and listed buildings pose.
We take the utmost care and consideration of the prevailing build environment, sensitive to whether it is high value, listed or of fragile construction. Due diligence is always expressed in our workmanship, with each of our Fitters working to the highest of standards at all times.
